What is Solidspace?

Solidspace is an original architectural form that’s inside every home we make. It uses split-levels to connect where we eat, live and work making our homes more spacious, bright and full of character.

What does Solidspace do?

We design homes for people to live in. It sounds strange, but so many new homes these days are built for buy-to-let investors, while people who ‘buy-to-live’ choose period properties. Why? Because Victorian homes have character. If you knock through the walls and open them up, they can also feel spacious and bright.

What makes your homes special?

We design our homes with three simple qualities from the start:

1 Light - we put in large windows to let in lots of light. Our 'open plan' design allows light to flood from one space to another.

2 Space - our homes are designed to utilise every bit of space. You won't find unnecessary corridors or awkwardly shaped rooms.

3 Character - by using split-levels, we create intriguing spaces with dramatic views giving our homes real character. 

It goes without saying that our homes are environmentally friendly.

All our homes are made in collaboration with inspiring architects who integrate the 'eat/live/work' Solidspace form into each development – be it a single house, mews, terrace or apartment block.

Every home we build ourselves or with self-builders has Solidspace inside, otherwise it’s just not Solidspace.
